RECENT PROJECTS
The Light Garden, Clifton Hill: a garden extension to a Victorian terrace on a corner heritage site, with solar panels, a heat pump and a below ground water tank.
Playtime, Northcote: a second storey addition to a Californian bungalow with retrofitted insulation and clerestory windows that pull southerly breezes through the house.
Danny's House, Northcote: a Victorian home extended with plantation and recycled timber and a custom water wall for thermal mass.
Seddon House: a dark two bedroom terrace turned into a light-filled three bedroom home that opens to its north garden.
WHY GUILD
Penny Guild is a Registered Architect in Victoria with a Bachelor of Architecture with Honours from the University of Melbourne. She has lectured in Environmental Building Systems at the University of Melbourne, and Guild Architects won the 2016 Architecture and Design Sustainability Awards for Alterations and Additions.
